Plain Elastomeric Pads

PLAIN ELASTOMERIC PADS are used in locations with limited load capacity and thermal movement. They are manufactured from neoprene, natural rubber or polyurethane and are usually cut from large sheets of rubber or are individually molded to any required shape.

AASHTO GRADE PLAIN BEARING PADS

Scougal Rubber Corporation offers high quality Neoprene (polychloroprene) and natural rubber (polyisoprene) bearing pad material to meet AASHTO and many other specifications.

Plain bearing pads are used for a variety of purposes in the bridge and construction industries. They allow for expansion and contraction of precast and steel components. The amount of movement depends on the thickness of the bearing pad. They are also used to minimize the effects of vibration on the structure and to dissipate noise.

We have material to meet the specifications of all 50 states and Canada.
